Quitting Amway During Family Function

At the moment, the most popular searches on my blog are: Family Reunion and many ways of saying that - Puryear Family Reunion, Duncan Family Reunion, Amway Family Reunion, WWDB Family Reunion, Family Reunion Portland, and more family reunions are held throughout the year.

Ganesh and Neha Shenoy are separated or divorced.

ways to get out of Amway

Strangely enough, during the most recent Amway function - Spring Leadership - I had a large number of clicks from people who wanted to know how to leave the company. http://marriedtoanambot.blogspot.com/2011/03/quitting-amway-during-spring-leadership.html

Here's a blog post I made about how to leave Amway.

Finally, a follow-up called "Having Trouble Quitting Amway?" was released.

I suppose Amway functions inherently attract those who want to know "how do I quit Amway." Alternatively, the "I'm fed up and don't want to put up with this nonsense any longer!" mob would be more appropriate.

I won't go over much of what I've already discussed in other posts because it's redundant. This time around, I'm getting a lot of inquiries from people who want to know if they would receive a refund if they decide to leave Amway.

Yeah, well, best of luck with that.

Amway's website would seem to contain a section where information regarding quitting would be readily available to IBOs who needed their queries answered. However, this is not the case. For all I know, this information could be found on their website. If you recall, it took me quite some time to track down information on annual membership prices when I wrote about them a few months ago. To summarise, finding what you're looking for on Amway's website might be extremely tough. I can see where you're coming from. When you're in the business of defrauding people of their money, the last thing you want is for them to give up. You want them to continue to pour money into your coffers. It makes more commercial sense to keep information about quitting out of the hands of independent business owners.

It would seem natural that a phone call to Amway's corporate headquarters would provide an answer to that inquiry. The problem is that if you manage to get through to someone at Amway, you will be put on hold with a department that should be renamed the "I couldn't care less department." They always respond with the same phrase: "Ask your upline Platinum."

You Amway staff need to be scolded for your consistently helpful replies!

The IBO is now confronted with the idea of approaching their upline, who is almost certainly the Platinum. This is a frightening possibility for some people, depending on how long they've been associated with Amway. An IBO who has only been in the company for a few weeks is unlikely to be brainwashed and to be dealing with the love and punishment as well as the basic fear of the Platinum, so they may feel free to approach the bastard. This is the point at which the Platinum tries everything they can to persuade them not to give up. You can't afford to give up now, especially when victory is just around the corner. Then again, what is it that they are going to say? The swindler says, "You can't stop now because I haven't completed swindling and making money off of you."

An IBO who has been in the business for a longer period of time will have more trouble quitting. Everyone in their upline believes everything they say because they have been brainwashed into believing it to be true. They have been brainwashed into believing that if they give up, they would be broke losers for the rest of their lives; however, this is not the case. There is no chance they will be able to adjust to competing brands because they have been brainwashed into believing that Amway's products are the best available everywhere. The abuse has become so severe that the IBO is afraid of retaliation from their upline if they decide to leave. Nobody has the audacity to disobey the Platinum!

According to what I understand, IBOs have a certain amount of time from the moment they joined up to be able to cancel and receive a refund. I'm not sure when it will happen. I do know that the one and only downline Ambot recruited departed Amway within a month of joining and received a refund. When Ambot was looking at his Amway or WWDB accounts, he noticed that the refund had been processed.

What you get reimbursed for is a little hazy. When we first signed up, it cost roughly $150, which included a yearly Amway membership as well as a starter kit containing some mediocre Amway products. Always on the lookout for ways to take advantage of people, Amway charges around $60 per year for membership and does not prorate it, so if you sign up in the middle of the year, you will be charged the full $60 and on January 1, you better pay your $60 again or your upline Platinum will give you a shit kicking.

I'm not sure what happens if someone decides to cancel their membership quickly after joining up, whether Amway refunds the entire $60 membership fee or whether they prorate the fee!

Moreover, I am unsure what will happen to the approximately $100 worth of shoddy Amway products in the starter kit if the quitting IBO sends them back for a refund, if Amway refunds but says keep the shit, or if Amway tells them to fuck off and there will be no refund and the IBO is out of luck.

What happens to the tools that the IBO purchased? Because acquiring tools is the key to Amway success and wealth, as soon as an IBO joins the company, their upline will start berating them for not doing so right away. That is, for the upline Diamond, of course!

According to Amway's literature, when an IBO quits, their upline is responsible for purchasing back the tools if the IBO wants it. There is no time limit on this. It is spelled out in Amway's terms and conditions as part of their phoney bullshit act to differentiate themselves from devious organisations such as WWDB, BWW, and other similar organisations. When we quit, Ambot went to his sponsor Captain Fuck Up and returned some of the CDs and books to him, which was a positive experience for us. There were around 20 CDs and maybe 5 books that he brought, all of which were still in their original wrapping because they had not been opened. Captain Fuck Up declined to issue a refund, claiming that he did not have any money. I'm not sure who the fucking problem is here. As if we needed any more evidence that the Amway tool fraud was real! According to Amway's guidelines, if an IBO decides to leave and wishes to return the tools, you are required to issue a refund.

It's just another fabrication.

Ambot continued to move up the line, attempting to unload the tools. The sack of excrement Platinum offered to buy them for ten cents apiece, which they gladly accepted.

You're a fucking jerk!

Most Independent Business Owners (IBOs) will have purchased a shitload of useless Amway products that they do not want or need. Just get that old PV up to the top so your upline can fulfil their objectives! Amway offers a phoney promise that it will issue a refund within 180 days of purchase. Each and every independent business owner (IBO) in the world boasts about it. Afterwards, they claim that Amway's items are the best on the market and are of such excellent quality that no one would ever want to return their fine merchandise. Yes, that's correct. Yet another fabrication. If you contact Amway's I-don't-give-a-damn department and request a refund, you will be required to go through a lengthy process. They will come up with every possible reason why they do not want to issue you a refund at any point in time. Most independent business owners find it easier to swallow their losses. They loaded up on Nutrilite vitamins and snack bars, literally, because they were clearly on a diet.

The unfortunate reality is that for the vast majority of IBOs, there will be no refund if they decide to leave Amway.
