Amway is only your friend as long as you continue to do business with them.

I would say that the answer is as straightforward as shopping from any online retailer. If you do not pay them, they will not ship you the items that you have placed in your shopping basket.
Additionally, the yearly membership cost Amway charges you for the “privilege” of purchasing at their store is the same as the annual membership fee. If you do not pay your annual fee, you will not be able to shop there. And some Amway hedonist has a little less money in their bank account as a result of this.
Costco operates in a similar manner. If you fail to pay your annual membership fee, the Costco bouncer who stands at the door will not let you into the store.
The fact that you are not required to pay Amway is a very positive development. That signifies you've stopped doing business with them and aren't getting taken advantage of any longer..
I strongly advise everyone to avoid paying Amway!
