The Real Amway Or The Fantasy Amway?

Many people are drawn into Amway as a result of the publicity and glamour surrounding the company. The truth, on the other hand, frequently paints a very different picture. If you've ever attended a large Amway meeting, you've most certainly gathered in a hotel or conference room and heard a lot about some person who was struggling to make ends meet until he discovered Amway and instantly became wealthy monetarily. Now, that diamond wakes up at midday and goes about his business whenever he wants, whenever he wants. It is possible for anyone to accomplish this feat if they simply sign up and follow their flawless system. Despite the fact that it appears and sounds fantastic, what you are doing is committing yourself to being a commission-only Amway sales representative who will be responsible for selling those difficult-to-sell Amway products.

The products are hailed as the best on the market or as being of exceptionally high quality. Despite this, unless you are an Amway Independent Business Owner (IBO), you will not see or hear much about Amway products. You can most certainly get some Amway products on eBay or Craigslist for less than IBO cost, or sometimes even less than IBO cost. Considering that IBOs frequently state that these Amway products are 100 percent money back guaranteed, it is perplexing that we continue to hear of IBOs who leave the business with a garage full of Amway memorabilia. Could it be that the guarantee offered by IBOs isn't as genuine as they claim? One thing you don't hear about very often is the fact that only the Amway products are reportedly backed by a guarantee. I don't believe you will be able to get your money back if you purchase a CD or attend a function. I've never heard of anyone getting their money back after attending a party.

I've also heard stories of people quitting their jobs at Amway to stroll the beaches of the world as the money keeps rolling in. However, Amway has been in business for more than 50 years. Can anyone, other than the proprietors of Amway, name even five persons who truly created an Amway business and then walked away to earn the residuals? Is it possible to name even five people? By the way, if you actually named someone, how would you know if they were retired on Amway residuals or not? In my experience, no diamonds have ever been forthright with their financial information, and we've even seen several prominent names, such as Britt and Dornan, pass away while remaining actively engaged in the company. It is possible to argue that their "work" was simple, but the requirement to be someplace at a specific time goes against the claims of freedom made by IBOs in general.

The Amway opportunity is made to look glitzy and glamorous in recruitment meetings but the reality is that you are signng on to be a commission only sales person who will take on the risk and expense of advertising and peddling Amway products. According to Amway's own statistics, only about.26 percent of their customers achieve platinum status. That's a probability of approximately 1 in 400. Supposedly, it is at this point that IBOs begin to produce a net profit on their investments. If you like those kinds of odds, I recommend you try your hand at

Rather than running a business, you opt to purchase lottery tickets.
