Things To Do In Edmonton Alberta Instead of Amway WWDB 2014 Free Enterprise Days FED

Well, that's a pain in the neck. Eventually, it came to pass. Amway bastards who hold a WWDB function in a city where we do not already have a previous post on things to do there that we can copy & paste into our blog.

So let's just send a big, fat FUCK YOU to Amway!!!

During the week of October 17 - 19, 2014, World Wide Dream Builders will host Free Enterprise Days (FED) in Edmonton, Alberta. Why? As a result of its well-known reputation as one of the destinations where Amway ambots enjoy strolling along beaches across the world. LOL!!!! After consulting my trusty companion Trip Advisor, I discover that the top four attractions are all either parks or music halls, which tells you something about how interesting this town is! I even came across someone who referred to this location as Deadmonton! It's a joke, of course! That's just right! LOL!

Choose number 5 on the Trip Advisor list – and then wait for it – and then wait for it! The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village is open to the public! No? Yes? The entrance fee is $10. Oh, forget about that. Early September marks the end of the season. Please accept my apologies if I raised anyone's expectations!

What about #6 on the list, which is, well, not a streetcar named Desire, but a streetcar nonetheless. Even though they can call it whatever they want, it isn't going to be running this late in the season, so cross another item off your list.

You can skip to #9, which isn't a park or a street, and isn't open all year, and that will take you to the Royal Alberta Museum. It appears to contain a lot of the same exhibits that you would find in most museums. It will cost you $11. That is significantly less expensive than the money you will spend to attend an Amway gathering. Simply put, take the $130 that you would have spent on FED and use it to visit the museum, have dinner at a fine restaurant, see an entertainment event, and still have money left over in your pocket. http://www.royalalbertamuseum.ca/

Everything else in Edmonton's top 20 is a park, a street, or a city hall, save for a few notable exceptions. I was able to get a couple more museums into the top 20. eeny meeny miny moe: eeny meeny miny moe

The Alberta Aviation Museum is located in Edmonton, Alberta. If you enjoy planes, this is a wonderful option for you. A decent option for those who dislike flying and want to find something to do instead of squandering their money on a Scamway meeting is to go to a convention centre. It's only $10, and it's open for the rest of the season, so there you go! http://www.albertaaviationmuseum.com/

God, who were all of these individuals who voted on these attractions — parks, government buildings, music halls, and movie theatres – and who were they voting for? When I reach to #40, I'm already bored out of my mind with my tree, but this name catches my eye! Fantasyland! Yes! This is the location where Amway ambots reside. The bears are taking a break.

Fantasyland claims to be the world's largest indoor amusement park, and an image of a water park is displayed on the website. Because since it is located inside, it has to remain open all year, right? Right? Who knows what the hell is going on? The website for it does not appear to exist, though I did come across a handful of other things that appear to be related in some way. Two hotels have been built in Amway ambots' fancy pretend world. The first is the Fantasyland Hotel, which, yeah, does sound like a nice location for them to stay and play in their small fantasy pretend world. Other than that, there's a connection to the West Edmonton Mall, and while I'm in there, I see a link that says "rates." http://www.wem.ca/hours-rates/mall-shopping-hours To enter into this mall, do you have to pay anything? I was under the impression that shopping malls were free for people to come in and spend their money and shop. What do they consider themselves to be? Amway? Shit! What is it about this temptation that has me clicking on the link for Galaxyland Amusement Park? Oh yes, that does sound like another location for Amway ambots, who are unquestionably working from another galaxy! There are no rates that I can see. Oh, wait a minute, I see a tag that says "Click here for today's rates," which means that the price appears to change on a daily basis, which makes sense given the supply and demand situation. I was dealt the magic number of $39, but that is not set in concrete. That is for a ride pass that is valid for the entire day. Even yet, it's still significantly less expensive than spending an additional $100 to attend WWDB Amway Free Enterprise Days. And it's a lot more fun! Then I see that there is another link for the waterpark, with yet another disclaimer stating that rates are subject to change without notice, and I click on this link to see the current pricing – ta da – I was fortunate enough to receive $39 once more. This appears to be an outrageous price, but when compared to the Amway FED pricing, it is a steal! Also required is the payment of additional fees for items such as a towel, an inner tube, a locker, and so on. It's similar to having to pay for all of the extras that Amway provides, such as CDs, books, tickets, and so on. And, being the sucker that I am, I proceeded to click on a few more links to see how much it would cost to get up close and personal with a sea lion. It's better than staring at an Amway jerk!

In addition, I discovered a zoo on Trip Advisor's list, but I was on the verge of giving up. The Valley Zoo comes in at number 55 on the list. Admission for adults is $13.25 and a little less for children and other age groups. It appears to be a reasonably well-curated collection of animals. I was shocked to find a skunk on the list of animals at the zoo. I was under the impression that all of the skunks in town would be at the Amway WWDB FED conference! Check out this video of the Siberian Tiger, and image how much fun it would be to let it go at an Amway conference! http://edmonton.ca/attractions events/edmonton-valley-zoo.aspx

Keep your money in your pocket. Spending your money and your time to Amway brainwashing sessions is a waste of both. Anything would be preferable to attending an Amway WWDB gathering. I'm going to be at home. Being confined to one's hotel room and watching television.

Amway WWDB FED Free Enterprise Days are a snooze fest.

All of Amway's functions are terrible!

World Wide Dream Builders is a snooze fest!

Amway is a jerk!
