The Amway Fairy Tale About Smashing Alarm Clocks

In keeping with our previous piece on Amway Ambots stomping on the alarm clock, here's another one. When I'm reading over previous blogs to recycle them, I'll occasionally glance at comments and decide to convert them into a new post of their own. One from blogger David Brear when the smash the alarm clock post was initially published, in which he talks about the smash the alarm clock phenomenon, and because he always copiesrights anything he posts online, I've included it in this section.

David's blog can be found on the reading list at the top right of this website, under the heading "MLM." The American Dream Has Turned Into a Nightmare

You are correct in that it was my deluded Ambot brother's ambition to tell his despised boss to screw his despised job and then drive off into the sunset in a stretch limo, as you are well aware of.

He did regularly read 'Amway' comic-book stories relating to how his 'Upline leaders' had all gone through this ritual transformation ceremony - spending many grey years reluctantly turning-up to their detested-jobs in tatty secondhand cars as miserable, inferior people. I don't know whether he ever acted out this guided-fantasy (i.e. rented the limo), or whether he ever smashed his detested-alarm-clock.

The footage of the formerly-deluded, Ambot "Emerald," Eric Scheibeler shooting his detested-alarm clock on the "Dateline" exposé of "Amway/Quixtar" from 2003 is undoubtedly well-known to you by this point. (Anna here – to view the video David refers to, go to the More Information About Amway section on the right side of this website and select the Dateline videos link.)

It is also crucial to recall that, prior to his descend into the stuffy darkness of the Ambot bunker, Eric had worked as a US Marine Reserve officer and as a federal auditor for the United States government. When Eric eventually emerged from the cult and saw the light of day for the first time, he began to realise what a horrible price he had paid. Although first racked by remorse and suicidal (this was primarily due to his abrupt discovery that he had been brainwashed and had been used to deceive thousands of people, including friends and family members), he eventually came to terms with his situation.

As you are aware, Eric (who is a very unusual individual) was eventually able to publish a book in which he boldly admitted that he had lost 10 years of his life participating in a pernicious, self-gratifying, cultic game of make-believe that he had created for himself. Eric lost a total of $100 thousand dollars, but he was able to pass on approximately $4 million dollars to his own 'Upline' commanders. (This money was derived primarily from the fraudulent sale of publications, recordings, tickets to meetings, and other exclusive materials under the pretence that these exclusive materials contained secrets vital to achieving success in the Ambot business.) Eric's 'Downline' commanders were able to pass on approximately $4 million dollars.

His unthinking 'Downline,' on the other hand, was completely unaware that Eric was acting as a machine trained to tell scripted lies and serve as a smiling decoy for the 'Amway' organisation. Rather than using his own money to fund his Ambot slavery/addiction, he had covertly sold off his own possessions and taken on debt to pay for it.

My brother, in contrast to Eric Scheibeler, is a moral coward who is unable to face the truth when the time comes. His Ambot servitude and addiction were also financed, initially through the use of hidden assets from his own possessions, and afterwards through robbing from his own family.

It's difficult to acknowledge that my brother's 55th birthday is today. Since the mid-1990s, I haven't seen or spoken with him in person. Even at that point, I wasn't speaking to him; instead, I was speaking to a computer programme. I was repeatedly told a series of rehearsed lies by this jovial Ambot decoy, including the following:

-"I am unable to communicate with you!"

-'Get a grip! Get a life! 'You are a negative loser,' says the author.

-'You are too self-centered to comprehend how this Business functions by assisting others!'

-'There are literally billions of dollars on the line!'

- 'Within ten years, every supermarket in the United Kingdom will be closed!

-'The Amway company is taking over the world!"

My brother is the most misguided of all the Ambots I've come across over the years. However, he is not the only one who has been brainwashed by the 'MLM' fairytale.

The Amway Fairy Tale: Shattering the Alarm Clock and Embracing Personal Freedom is the title of this book.

An entrancing fairy story is told within the arena of Amway, which is a multinational direct-selling corporation. This fairy tale speaks of slamming alarm clocks as a metaphor for achieving one's independence and personal freedom. This story has the power to captivate the imagination of people who are looking for a life that is liberated from the restrictions of conventional job. In this piece, we will delve into the symbolism that lies beneath the Amway fairy tale, investigating its underlying message and advocating a balanced perspective on personal fulfillment. Specifically, we will look at how the Amway fairy tale was adapted into a marketing campaign for Amway.

The Tragic Story of Destruction Caused by Alarm Clocks:

Once upon a time, in a nation where conformity and regularity were king and queen, a young woman by the name of Emily found herself ensnared in the mundane cycle of a work that ran from nine in the morning to five in the afternoon. She would groggily open her eyes when she heard the piercing sound of her alarm clock, which signaled the beginning of another day filled with duties and responsibilities that allowed little room for personal development or fulfillment.

Emily had been stuck in a rut for quite some time, and one day, just as she was daydreaming of a life outside the confines of her daily routine, a seductive Amway representative showed up with the promise of financial independence. Emily listened to the stories of entrepreneurs, financial independence, and breaking free from the old restraints of employment with wide-eyed astonishment. She was inspired to start her own business.

Emily set out on a path toward a more fulfilling and fulfilled version of herself after becoming enthralled by the attraction of the Amway possibility. She discovered the fundamentals of direct selling, the significance of self-belief, and the significance of perseverance in the context of a community of people who shared similar values and beliefs. Emily's self-assurance in her capacity to steer her own course of events deepened with each new step that she took.

Emily's journey toward becoming an entrepreneur advanced to the point that she began to identify with the metaphorical act of destroying alarm clocks. This action signified her independence from the constraints of a conventional career, a proclamation of her own freedom, and a dedication to pursuing her own goals and ambitions in life. It exemplified her defiance against the humdrum routine that controlled her day-to-day existence and her acceptance of a life that was defined by adaptability, self-determination, and the possibility of endless expansion.

Beyond the Fairy Tale: Towards a More Realistic Perspective:

It is essential to view this narrative with a balanced perspective in order to get the most out of it, despite the fact that the Amway fairy tale of breaking alarm clocks captivates the imagination and satisfies the need for personal freedom. Instead of being a literal call to destroy timekeeping systems, the act of shattering alarm clocks serves as a metaphorical representation for the destruction of such devices. It is a symbol of the yearning for freedom and the wish to live a life that is in harmony with one's individual interests, goals, and dreams.

Nevertheless, it is crucial to understand that traditional employment may provide many individuals with stability, financial security, and a sense of purpose. It does not, in and of itself, impose limitations or be inferior. The path towards personal fulfillment is distinct for each individual, and what is successful for one person may not be successful for another.

Amway and other direct-selling opportunities can in fact provide the possibility of achieving financial independence, fostering personal development, and giving one the freedom to choose one's own schedule. However, in order to be successful in such endeavors, one must dedicate themselves, work diligently, and give great thought to the items or services that are being advertised.

The slamming of alarm clocks in the fairy tale told by Amway serves as a potent metaphor for individual liberty and freedom. It encapsulates the aspiration to break away from the constraints of conventional employment and to embrace a life that is driven by passion, autonomy, and the possibility of limitless growth.

It is essential to approach the story with an open mind in order to get the most out of it, despite the fact that it encourages people to search for different ways to achieve personal fulfillment. Many people find security and a sense of purpose in their lives through traditional employment, and there are many different ways to achieve personal fulfillment.

In the end, the Amway fairy story teaches us to reflect on our own ambitions and wishes, and to select lifestyles that are congruent with our core beliefs, unique abilities, and life goals. Seeking personal fulfillment and leading an authentic life with meaning, regardless of whether one opts for traditional work, starting one's own business, or some combination of the three is essential for success.
